This topic should be the most popular one in smartphone area. The hottest smartphone iPhone 4 has their upgraded version iPhone 4S. Now the problem comes, should I get this white iPhone 4S before iPhone 5 comes out next year, is that a right time for upgrading or new purchase?
For cost effective consideration, this is not the right time to get an iPhone 4S. We suggest you to wait for 2-3 months and you will enjoy the reasonable price for it. But, for another hand, Apple has already prepared to release and promote their next generation iPhone – iPhone 5, which is take its responsibility to face the competition from Android legion. Android smartphone has already upgraded to dual core processor and 1GB RAM, even in designing area Samsung and Motorola has already released the smartphones which are much thinner than iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. The Android OS is also upgrading to Android 4.0, we can image that there are a lot of Android 4.0 smartphone came to the market in the early of next year, or even at the end of this year as quick as they do. No matter designing or performance, Android smartphone has already reached the iPhone level or even better. You know the current Samsung Galaxy S 2(i9100) is the good example, which is thinner and faster than iPhone 4! So, you have to get the idea that Apple will soon release their next generation iPhone 5 to compete for these challengers. We guess iPhone 5 will come to us no later than mid of next year.
The times gap between iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 won’t be too long, this cause difficult to make decision for whether you buy iPhone 4S now or not. If you are going to wait few months for reasonable price as we suggested then you’d better to wait few more months for iPhone 5 as alternative.
Finally, we suggest that: if you are fanatical Apple fan, just go get it right now; if you are customer who considers more about cost effective and also you are not gadget fan, and then wait for the cheaper iPhone 4S, you don’t need iPhone 5 for your life; but if you are either gadget fan and like new stuffs then please keep your patient for iPhone 5.
BTW, please be attention, iPhone 4S comes with white color compare to first release of iPhone 4. I think most of customers will love the white color design, which is more compatible with Apple’s designing concepts. But white color means you have to pay more attention to protect it. If you bought the white iPhone 4S then please buy case for it as soon as possible.
